PawTend came to us to solve a real operational problem: clunky, uncustomizable pet care systems that forced staff and clients into time consuming workarounds. We mapped the old system's friction points, rethought how the day to day was handled, and drew inspiration from hotel booking experiences to create something immediately familiar. We then built a three part system combining scheduling, billing, and client records into one cohesive platform with intentional role based workflows for administrators, staff, and customers. The result was a unified SaaS platform that cut a lengthy booking and workflow process down to a few simple steps, giving staff more time for what actually matters: taking care of the pets.
To bring the product to market, we designed a website that spoke directly to pet care business owners, a space to learn about the platform, explore its features, and sign up for a demo. The challenge was finding a visual direction for a product that had almost no real comparison in the industry. Most pet operations tools tend to be too generic, so we leaned into the app's warm, welcoming design system to create something that felt approachable and owner focused without losing its credibility as a serious business tool. The result matched the product it represented: familiar enough to feel inviting, distinct enough to stand out.
